Reporting from an AirBnB

After two days of driving, including a mess of slowdowns the night before, I was beat. That and the fact that the group was going to Animal Kingdom (which really didn't pique my interest), plus I would not have gotten in cheap (our old friends Bill and Janet can only get so many people into Disney at a time), so I made the call to hang out at the Airbnb for the day.
It has a private pool and spa, so I was quite content. It took a little while to get it heated up, but after that it was very nice. The weather forecast says this is may be the hottest day of the trip, so I wanted to get in some pool time while I could. I also ran to the local Publix for some supplies for the week. Otherwise, I lazed around.
Meanwhile, Mindy enjoyed a day at Disney with her sisters. First on the agenda was the Avatar ride at Animal Kingdom, a motion simulator based on the movie Avatar, of course. We soared through the skies of Pandora. Mindy really enjoyed this one! She wandered around a bit with the big group (7 total — wow!), did more of the park, rode Dinosaur (RIP, next year).
Then a quick hop over to Epcot at the end of the day to ride Ratatouille, which Mindy really loved!
But if you are trying to meet someone picking you up at Epcot, don’t listen to the instructions from the gate guards! Mindy and Kathy had to walk from one side of the parking lot to another to meet up with their other sister and their ride home!
