Reporting from an AirBnB

After a quiet night at a decent hotel, we were off and running, starting locally in Columbia, SC. A mural called “Tunnelvision” is just that--a tunnel painted on a wall. Unfortunately, my ACME shipment is late.
Breakfast at Vicious Biscuit--Mindy’ favorite—featuring fried green tomatoes
Got another state capital under our belt—South Carolina. Rather compact but very nice.
Two robot heads are better than one (art installations).
Moving on to a snippet of Georgia, and we couldn't skip a Buc-ee's.
In Jacksonville, we found a statue of an owl, a book, and a key, all part of a library. Those are the symbols of Athena, the goddess of wisdom.
Things get a little hazy after that. We made our way down to Orlando, which should have taken about 3 hours, but it was at least four. There was a seven mile backup due to an accident--with no real way to get around it. Orlando itself was a mess. I do not recommend driving through it, especially at night. But we finally arrived at the Airbnb.
Tomorrow-- the gang goes to Animal Kingdom, and I take a swim.
